Despite their differences, Lilith is shown to deep down to care about her sister. In "Covention", when Lilith learns that Amity and Luz are about to engage in a Witch's Duel, Lilith seizes the opportunity to prove that she is a better teacher than Eda. This intense strive to one-up her sister causes her to cheat by placing a power glyph onto Amity's nape, a move she tries to justify by saying that she knows Eda would cheat first. However, Lilith still cared about Amity and was ecstatic to hear about her getting together with Luz.

Body
She is also shown to be quicker to anger and more impulsive and naïve compared to her sister, firmly believing Emperor Belos' promise to remove Eda's curse. The trio return to the Demon Realm, where Lilith guides them to an elevator that would lead them to Eda. When asked to follow along, she refuses and elects to remain in the Coven so as to prevent such tragedies from ever happening again. Unfortunately, it's revealed to be a trap as Belos appears and tangles King and Lilith up in his vines, mockingly commenting on her betrayal before sending the duo up to be petrified. In the cage, Eda prepares to kill her sister but King stops her and reveals Lilith's pure intentions.
Friends / Allies
Lilith automatically won the challenge and was selected to be a member of the Coven. She elucidates that she had been trying to force Eda to join the Emperor's Coven to be healed by Emperor Belos, but he had lied to her. Luz is still in doubt, but decides to trust her nevertheless after Lilith gives her the Owl Staff and Owlbert, which are still okay. Lilith makes her debut in this episode, where she's the guest-of-honour for that day's coven convention. Later on, she encounters Eda as she signs autographs and, noting how their apprentices Luz and Amity have gotten themselves into a duel, decides to spare Eda from the law's persecution for a day. During the duel, Lilith smugly reveals that Eda cheated by laying magic traps around the arena, but soon after Luz also reveals that Lilith secretly stuck a power glyph on Amity's neck, enhancing her spells, causing the latter to run away in shame and Luz to follow after.
Friends
In Sense and Insensitivity, Lilith's quest to capture/cure Eda initially took a backseat first to finding the Bloom of Eternal Youth, and then later when Eda is right in front of her it took a backseat to beating Eda in a race to the Bloom. In Wing it like Witches, Lilith was willing to gamble her mission of saving Eda on a game of Grudgby. The only Lilith episode prior to Agony of a Witch where she isn't focused on her grudge is Once Upon a Swap. Another reason for her stepping onto a dark path was her ignorance to the Coven System's more sinister purposes, which are unknown to most other inhabitants of the Boiling Isles except a select few (ex. Eda), showing how naïve Lilith was. However, in spite of these flaws, Lilith is capable of seeing the error of her ways and will admit it. When Belos revealed that he had no intention of curing her sister, she rebelled against him and turned to Luz in order to save her sister, having realized that Eda was right about not trusting Belos.
The first fight doesn’t start and the second fight ends; both because Eda makes a sacrifice. Lilith isn't willing to make personal sacrifices, instead she tries to sacrifice someone else to get what she wants. She was unable to realize that cheating would hurt Amity emotionally, and easily dismissed Luz as just a "human pet" to Eda, not seeing the strong bond the two share. This also shows a somewhat self-centered side, holding on so strong to her way of thinking that she refuses to accept others. Later on, the Collector gets to work reverting all his victims back to normal.
The Owl House S1E19 "Young Blood, Old Souls"
Lilith and the others gather at the Owl House to celebrate Luz's belated quinceañera, which she made sure was perfectly followed to Camila's instructions. Lilith is later turned back into a puppet and was used to taunt Eda in her worst nightmares until Luz used a light glyph to wake her up. Lilith was later placed by Amelia and Cat in the Archives and spotted by Amity. Lilith is later rescued and turned back to normal by the Collector, where she is very enthusiastically greeted by Steve, who hugs her.

The two are put in charge of building the Bonesborough Library Museum Wing specialising in Titan research, of which Hooty would be curator of. As Amity arrives delivering a historical tome, Willow and Hunter arrive to inform Lilith of Luz's quinceañera, so she transforms into her harpy form to pick up Raine and Eda, attending the party to surprise Luz. Later, she decides to make a scrying potion to prove her trustworthiness to Eda. She tries to get the last ingredient for the potion, firebee honey, but because of her reduced magic she fails. In the first episode of season two, Lilith struggles to adjust to living in the Owl House since she's no longer being a member of the Emperor's Coven. When she sees her recruitment posters being torn down and replaced with the Golden Guard, she throws a tantrum in frustration.
Betraying the Emperor's Coven
Upon the return of Gwendolyn Clawthorne from her most recent sabbatical to cure Eda's curse, Lilith's ill feelings regarding her mother come to the surface. It is quickly revealed that, despite her magical prowess and her desperation for her mother's attention, Gwendolyn has largely ignored Lilith for most of her life. Upon learning that their mother has been in regular contact with Eda, Lilith sinks into a depressive episode and indulges with King by drowning her sorrows in illicit ice cream Eda bought from the Night Market. When King reveals that Gwendolyn and Luz have set out to cure Eda without her, the emotional toil this takes on Lilith activates her curse, which is only exacerbated when she realizes all the elixir in the house has been stolen. Before the duel starts, Lilith secretly places a Construction Coven power glyph on the back of Amity's neck, knowing well that Eda would use underhanded tactics to give her human pupil an advantage.
Character Information
Her jealousy was the reason she cursed her sister, something which she is ashamed of. The two have a bitter rivalry due to their clashing personalities and different approaches to magic, with Lilith growing increasingly embarrassed by her sister's reckless behavior. Despite being on opposite sides of the law, Lilith genuinely cares about Eda's well-being and wishes to end her curse, believing the Emperor could help in this respect.
It is revealed to be separate from the house when Hooty is conjured in "Hooty's Moving Hassle". It is located in the Demon Realm located on the cliffs outside Bonesborough and is inhabited by Luz, Eda, King, and Raine. TVTropes is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. This is a list of characters featured in the Disney Channel animated series The Owl House, created by Dana Terrace. During the epilogue 4 years later, it's revealed that Lilith has continued mentoring Amity and has Hooty as her coworker as he's retired from guarding the Owl House.
Enraged that Lilith betrayed him and the Coven and her rescue by Luz, he appoints the Golden Guard as the new leader of the Emperor's Coven, stripping Lilith (in-absentia) as the leader and expelling her from the coven in the process. While everything seems to be looking up for Lilith, she soon learns from Emperor Belos that he did not have the intention of healing Eda from the start and had lied to her; instead, he orders Eda to be executed by petrification. When word gets out that Luz is wreaking havoc in the palace, Lilith takes the responsibility of capturing the human, but in reality, she wishes to team up with Luz in order to save Eda. The ensuing tussle causes the two to tumble through the portal into the Human Realm. As they keep fighting, Luz shouts that Lilith deserves to be petrified for her actions instead of Eda, causing her to stop retaliating. She admits that Luz is right, and recounts her childhood to her, revealing her motives for cursing Eda, as well as the Emperor's false promise to heal her.
Her hair resembles a hand clinging onto her head, and she wears a jacket that covers her mouth; a glimpse of her mouth is shown in "Clouds on the Horizon", showing she has two teeth. She rarely appears in season one, often contacting members of the Emperor's Coven. It's not until Young Blood, Old Souls that Lilith is finally willing to make sacrifices. To restore Eda's humanoid form, Lilith has to split the curse, accepting onto herself the same injury she inflicted on her sister long ago, at the cost of her own magical abilities.
However, despite these flaws, Lilith is capable of seeing the error of her ways and will admit it. In contrast to Eda, Lilith is conservative, straight-laced, and generally law-abiding. As the Raven Beast, she resembles almost all of Eda's characteristics in her cursed form, but with black hair, large, crooked fangs, a longer neck, black claws, her ears having small ridges with no hair growing out from them, and she is much larger than the Owl Beast. She is Eda's older sister and the disgraced former leader and lead historical scholar of the Emperor's Coven. Lilith was living with her parents, trying to make up for lost time and to develop a cure for her and her sister's curse, along with getting a job in the interim until the Day of Unity, where she was captured by the Collector. Months later, after returning from the Human Realm, Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, Hunter, and Camila Noceda arrived at the Owl House and find it still abandoned and covered in graffiti.
Once the duel came, Eda refused to fight, making Lilith realize the curse was pointless, and worse, the curse was actually permanent. After Eda left, Lilith was automatically welcomed into the Emperor's Coven, where she served as a scholar and was mentored by Flora D'splora in her younger years with the coven. She eventually rose to become the leader of the coven and made a deal with Belos. If she could convince Eda to join the coven, he would lift her curse, completely unaware the emperor had no intention of keeping his word. In season 2 after leaving the Emperor's Coven, she wears a graphic tee (supposedly from the human world) of a "low battery" symbol and a ragged skirt that reaches to her ankles.
Lilith Clawthorne is Eda's older sister in the Disney Channel animated series The Owl House. Four years later, the two appear to have made up and hugged upon seeing each other while working on the library expansion project, their relationship having become much more affectionate and open. In "Elsewhere and Elsewhen", she encounters Belos as his original identity, Philip Wittebane, and starts to see the connections between the two. After realizing that he tricked and used her as an expandable to be sacrificed to the Stonesleeper, much akin to her time with Emperor Belos, she was so infuriated with him that she broke his nose with one punch after meeting him again. In "Keeping up A-fear-ances", Lilith decides to move back in with her mother and Hooty is genuinely saddened by this, even after she assures him they can be pen pals.
